RIP Michael Jackson

It's sad to hear that the legend of pop is dead.
For those that don't know, let me revise you.
A couple of days ago, Michael Jackson was sent to hospital after a cardiac arrest (heart attack).
It was confirmed today that Michael Jackson is dead.
Now some of you may know that I do like a bit of Jackson music from time to time, and hearing someone that I've been hearing for nearly my whole life die, is heartbreaking.

That's it really.

I have just thought up a brand new series called Guitar Hero Fails.
Basically, I play a song on Guitar Hero: World Tour on Guitar in practise. On Expert.

I haven't done a blog post in sometimes haven't I?
Well, only 3 people reads these so I don't think it's been affected.
Anywho, the Klonoa Wii review has been moved to this Sunday, because I can do that.
Secondly, and expectedly, I didn't get the partner programme. Don't be sad at me, I KNEW I wasn't going to get it. Besides, I prefer more flexablity in my videos.
So, maybe next year, I may get it, but for now, nope.

They said;

I have returned from my cruise and had a pretty good week.
Met a friend, there was a pretty good arcade and they had a Wii!
So, there are two videos coming soon.
A) The 36th podcast about the cruise
and B) The 200th video special, which will be a video response to Tom's new internet meme.
Unfortunatly, I couldn't find Klonoa, but I'm going to purchase it from Play.com instead.
Also, I have bought 12 Months of Xbox LIVE, so I get to annoy the crap out of all of you for one more year!
ALSO, I may get another game, cause after I get Klonoa, I'll still have £15, so I may get some points. May get Castle Crashers. Then Unleashed DLC.

Yes, indeed it is a post!
I haven't done an update in about a week.
So, I've suddenly grown to like Hardline.
For those that don't know (the 6,706,993,998 of you), Hardline were a metal band that came to late to make a mark. The 90's. (Ahh, the 90's... Miss it very much)
But anywho, I'd recommend you listen to Hot Cherie, Life's a Bitch and Voices by Hardline, cause those are the best songs.
Secondly, it's my birthday in 12 days time!
I may make the next podcast then. It'll be easier and I'll have more to talk about.

My laptop has been fixed!
Let me tell you a short story. With 'short' being the main word.
On 29th, I went Mega Man crazy. So much, I was a naughty boy and downloaded a torrent of Mega Man X8.
Then I required a keygen, which I downloaded, not knowing it had a VIRUS.
Thus my laptop keeped on BlueScreen'd.
Then Tom (xXDJTJ222Xx) fixed it!
And now it's running on XP!
Meaning;
A) Easier video making
B) Faster laptop
and C) I can play Sonic R, 3D and Riders!

I, from here on in, will only do reviews on my blog. No more video reviews. Well, this'll be temporary, but until I'm ready, no more video reviews. Sorry, but it's the critic's faults. Why can't we go back to 1992? When people didn't think Sonic will be good, they KNOW.

I've gone Sonic 2 crazy today!
Not only have I completed the boxart for Tom's first 'album' if you will, Super Sonic EightBit Remix, I have also completed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 again!
Nothing can beat nostalgia!
The last time I completed the game was ages. And now, I feel very proud. Also, tomorrow, I'm getting my Guitar Hero III guitar! Many thanks to Tom for winning it for me. He wins a pat on the back. Also.

Text Reviews: Overspeed

It's a text review!
This is how they will go down. Four scores; graphics, sound, gameplay and length
Graphics: How the game looks and feels
Sound: How the game sounds
Gameplay: How the game plays and how well
Length: How long the game will last after the single-player stuff.
Right, time for the review.

Overspeed is a little known game by City Interactive and groove. Yeah, I don't know them either. But anyway, in a nutshell, Overspeed is your average Need for Speed/Midnight Club kind of game, with a tad bit of that online space racer thing.

GRAPHICS:
For a CD-rom game, it looks superb. The cars look brilliant, either during gameplay or in the garage. Also, the fact there are NINE camera views, and damage system that is pretty nifty and you got a cheap man's Project Gothem Racing and Need for Speed (before the series was ruined)

SOUND:
The soundtrack is awful. However, you can get rid of the shitty 'bounce' music and replace it with your own tracks. I'm not joking. I wasn't expecting it either. As for the car sounds, tyre squeal and crashing sounds? Well, they're OK.

GAMEPLAY:
The gameplay is just you and some-one else on a track. Simple, right? Nope. The controls are horrific. Seriously, you have to use the handbrake on EVERY turn. Also, you have to go round a track five times to learn it. Trail and error is not what a good racing game makes. Add to that nearly every button on the keyboard having a useful purpose, and you've got cramped fingers for seven weeks.

LENGTH:
Very short indeed. There is multiplayer online for up to four players, but, as is usual, there is NO-ONE ONLINE. The story mode will take you perhaps a couple of hours.

OVERALL:
For a budget title, it's great. Very fluid, very nice and the ability to play your own music. If this was about £9.99, don't bother.

You needn't watch the podcast! Well, there may be more stuff THEN, but until then, this'll do.

Firstly, I AM getting Guitar Hero: World Tour and Unleashed Wii. Expect more videos of me on World Tour and a Wiiview (that's getting old isn't it?) of Sonic Unleashed.

An early Christmas present to all of you!

No, it's not a special video or a piece of danday merchandise. Nope, it's better.

The Danday Song will be made public on the 15th of December!

You all may know that about 3 months ago, I privated that video, because of hearing it again and again at school and those ignorant YouTubers.

Then, it got worse. The Admin posted a 'remix' and the video was made public by someone. Copyright is required.

But, now that it's all dyed down, I'm re-opening it on the 15th!

And also, I will put in a mp3 download as well!

Good news! Sonic Unleashed has a release date!
The bad news? It's what I feared. 3 WEEKS!
I can't wait THREE WEEKS! Well, maybe I can, but only just!
(Yes, I have gone back to putting exclamation marks at the end of everything)
Some more good news as well;
This is the back cover of Sonic Unleashed on Xbox 360. And guess what! There is going to be DLC! OMG!
Also, Danday Reviews: Sonic Unleashed with deepholeintheground has a confirmed date too!
30th November.
However, I will need to find out if dhitg (Luke from here on in) can do that date.
Finally, SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection is confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3!
Thus far, it's coming out early 2009, so is Sonic and the Black Knight.

Hey, guys.
My patience has reached level 12 and my excitement has reached level 3859584365986539636, or any random and high number.
Yep, it's Sonic Unleashed, coming to Britian next Friday! (Or 2 Fridays from now. That would be very sad face)
Unfortunately, the wikipedia article, which is my first resort for Sonic Unleashed information, hasn't been updated since, I don't know 2-3 weeks ago?
Also, The Sonic Stadium thinks a bigger problem is someone posting 18 submissions in their competition, rather than Sonic's next big game. Disgraceful.
Anywho, the Sonic Unleashed fund is at a whooping, £32.
8 more pericous Great British Pounds needed for the game I've been excited about since day one.
So, that's all about Sonic Unleashed and this article really, except...
Me and a friend from school (1gnorence, or however it's spelt) are doing the 3rd episode of GTA Madness!

Halloween is gone!

Yep, today is 1st November. The decorations come down, the costumes go away for another year. And I replace my wallpaper and blog background.
Anywho, just two things to say.
1) The Q&A Answers will be uploaded on the 2nd, but questions are now disabled
2) If your near Longwell Green in Bristol, go to Laser Fusion. It's great! You get 3 games for just a tenner! And each goes on for 20 minutes, you do the maths. I came 2nd, 1st and 2nd in that order, with my highest score being 1130!
Here is a lowdown;
1st game; 78 'kills', 38 'deaths'. 692 points. +40 K/D ratio. Rank 2nd. Team Rank 1st.

OK, I've got alot to get through.
Firstly, there will be a bunch of videos this month. Two birthday videos (one of them I've got to do in a week) the Halloween podcast and the Q&A answers.
Secondly, I have a Dreamcast! £20 from Gamestation with Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi.
Two downsides though. One: No VMU, have to buy one. Two: Crazy Taxi WAS broken. Fixed now, thanks to Gamestation. There will be reviews and a special called 'What is the best sixth gen console?'

I have just downloaded both the Sonic and the Black Knight theme versions and guess what? Crush 40 are back! Yep, I am 110% sure Crush 40 performed these versions.
Not sure of the name of it, but I'm guessing 'Knight of the Wind' since that's what I think will be the end of the chorus in the main theme.

New Sonic games verdict

So, my verdict on the new Sonic games:
Firstly, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.
Now, you all might well know, I've played it and it's great.
The exploration is easy, a nice bunch of characters and the fighting is nice, if not needing some practice.
All in all, a great start for Sonic in the RPG era.
8/10

Next, Sonic and the Black Knight.
This sounds cool, like Zelda meets Sonic but with sword fighting, not wolf transformation. Being based in the King Arthur type of thing, is a great concept and Jun Senuoe doing the music again is brilliant. The new character? Well, she be annoying or not? No-one knows!
7/10

Finally and I wouldn't forget this, Sonic Unleashed.
This is looking, not to be the best Sonic game ever. No, the best game ever. The graphics on PS3 and 360 rival all the games on those platforms. PS2 same, Wii? Damn you to hell, Mario! The wolf sections look outstanding. Also, the fact that Dimps (Sonic Rush) are doing the daytime sections and Sonic Team are doing the nightime sections, this is looking perfect.
Gripes? None. I've never been so hyped up for a game.

Danday Reviews: Sonic the Movie

OK, so instead of a video review, I'm doing a review on... my blog!
I've already done Indiana Jones 4, now for something a bit more, well, me.

Sonic the Movie, based on the famous franchise, which I'm a fan of, as you all may know.
The movie's action scenes are Sonic standard, enough. Not too much to make it Death Race 2000, neither does it have too less to make it High School Musical (why did I bring up AWFUL movies? I don't know)
Those looking for a comedy may find some ha-has here. I mean, there is one point where Sonic goes 'SHUT UP, TAILS!!!!' (probably the result of MANY YouTube Poops) and some other stuff I can't be bothered to type.
Language? Only the word 'pervert' (not saying, who, when and where)
All-in-all, for violence fans, okay.
For Sonic fans, amazing!
And because I'm a Sonic fan, it gets a:

Indiana Jones 4!
So let's get started, of course, it's going to be shorter than usual.
Now, the inclusion of someone new, isn't really a good thing in some movies and games.
In Indiana Jones 4, the new character , Mud (or Dirt or Micheal Parkinson, I don't know)
is mediocre at best, not good, but not bad either.
Now for whip action, yeah... about that.
THERE IS NEARLY NONE OF IT!!
I mean Indiana Jones, wouldn't be Indiana Jones without the whip and there was barely any in this movie and ALIENS?! Come on!
All in all, compared to the first 3, pitiful. But if your a hardcore Indy fan, watch it now!

For the first time ever, there is going to be a Danday Movie!!!
Here's the story, to hype you up:
Basically, the Danday does his usual stuff, watch videos, play games.
Then a murderer, disguesed as a famous movie maker, askes the Danday if he would like to be part of a famous movie company (like Machinima) but is actually going to kill him.
Will the Danday trick him (or her TBC) or will it be the Danday swansong?

Anyway, no more jibber jabber.
I am going to go see Indiana Jones 4 (I call it that) on Saturday.
Yes, I know it's late, but hey where there's a will, there's a way.
I'll be able to do my first ever movie review.
Just a couple of different things;
1) It will be shorter than usual , mainly because, if I explain the story, that will be SPOILING!
2) I won't have a case, since it's not on DVD yet.
3) Apart from that, it's no different.
