RIP Michael Jackson

It's sad to hear that the legend of pop is dead.
For those that don't know, let me revise you.
A couple of days ago, Michael Jackson was sent to hospital after a cardiac arrest (heart attack).
It was confirmed today that Michael Jackson is dead.
Now some of you may know that I do like a bit of Jackson music from time to time, and hearing someone that I've been hearing for nearly my whole life die, is heartbreaking.

I have just thought up a brand new series called Guitar Hero Fails.
Basically, I play a song on Guitar Hero: World Tour on Guitar in practise. On Expert.

Right, time for a blog post!

I haven't done a blog post in sometimes haven't I?
Well, only 3 people reads these so I don't think it's been affected.
Anywho, the Klonoa Wii review has been moved to this Sunday, because I can do that.
Secondly, and expectedly, I didn't get the partner programme. Don't be sad at me, I KNEW I wasn't going to get it. Besides, I prefer more flexablity in my videos.
So, maybe next year, I may get it, but for now, nope.

According to MCV, this is true!

They said;
The mobile game will be a high speed 2D side-scrolling adventure that stays true to what’s made Sonic such a popular and critical success over the years, both through environment and gameplay. Featuring dual gameplay, players will be able to engage as the regular Sonic the Hedgehog or Werehog, a werewolf who comes out at night, moves slower, but possesses incredible strength. The mobile game will once again pit Sonic against Dr. Eggman, taking him across several continents to collect the chaos emeralds to save the world. Exclusive to the mobile game, Sonic Unleashed for mobile will feature a new personality with exciting new skills.

I'm ACTUALLY back!

I have returned from my cruise and had a pretty good week.
Met a friend, there was a pretty good arcade and they had a Wii!
So, there are two videos coming soon.
A) The 36th podcast about the cruise
and B) The 200th video special, which will be a video response to Tom's new internet meme.
Unfortunatly, I couldn't find Klonoa, but I'm going to purchase it from Play.com instead.
Also, I have bought 12 Months of Xbox LIVE, so I get to annoy the crap out of all of you for one more year!
ALSO, I may get another game, cause after I get Klonoa, I'll still have £15, so I may get some points. May get Castle Crashers. Then Unleashed DLC.

OMG! A BLOG POST?!

Yes, indeed it is a post!
I haven't done an update in about a week.
So, I've suddenly grown to like Hardline.
For those that don't know (the 6,706,993,998 of you), Hardline were a metal band that came to late to make a mark. The 90's. (Ahh, the 90's... Miss it very much)
But anywho, I'd recommend you listen to Hot Cherie, Life's a Bitch and Voices by Hardline, cause those are the best songs.
Secondly, it's my birthday in 12 days time!
I may make the next podcast then. It'll be easier and I'll have more to talk about.

That went well...

My laptop has been fixed!
Let me tell you a short story. With 'short' being the main word.
On 29th, I went Mega Man crazy. So much, I was a naughty boy and downloaded a torrent of Mega Man X8.
Then I required a keygen, which I downloaded, not knowing it had a VIRUS.
Thus my laptop keeped on BlueScreen'd.
Then Tom (xXDJTJ222Xx) fixed it!
And now it's running on XP!
Meaning;
A) Easier video making
B) Faster laptop
and C) I can play Sonic R, 3D and Riders!

21st Century: The Worst Century Ever

I'm crumbling. Not only is my rant video getting a bunch of 'fans' sharing their dislike for the game, I've also seen GameTrailers fuck up anothe review by ONE THING. It's pitiful. And I've had it. I, from here on in, will only do reviews on my blog. No more video reviews. Well, this'll be temporary, but until I'm ready, no more video reviews. Sorry, but it's the critic's faults. Why can't we go back to 1992? When people didn't think Sonic will be good, they KNOW.
So, for now, goodbye Danday Reviews.

This was an unexpected attiction to the Danday Expresses his Anger series, IGN's stupid Black Knight review.

Nothing beats nostalgia!

I've gone Sonic 2 crazy today!
Not only have I completed the boxart for Tom's first 'album' if you will, Super Sonic EightBit Remix, I have also completed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 again!
Nothing can beat nostalgia!
The last time I completed the game was ages. And now, I feel very proud. Also, tomorrow, I'm getting my Guitar Hero III guitar! Many thanks to Tom for winning it for me. He wins a pat on the back. Also.

How happy am I?

Now, for those that need a backstory, Summer of Sonic '08 was the first real-life Sonic the Hedgehog convention with 300 people attending.
And, it's happening again. There are two bits of info though.
A) It'll be in London again
and B) It's on Saturday 29th August.

Anyway, I have Pinnacle Studio 12 now! I'm not telling HOW I got it (IT R SECRT), but expect better videos!
Also, I am FINNALY getting World Tour!
Those of you may know I asked for it back in Christmas time, but failed to get it. Now, a month on, I am finnaly getting it!
I'm looking forward to this game since I saw a video of Tom playing Rooftops with his online band. And now I love it. Expect it in the Danday Movie!

Text Reviews: Overspeed

It's a text review!
This is how they will go down. Four scores; graphics, sound, gameplay and length
Graphics: How the game looks and feels
Sound: How the game sounds
Gameplay: How the game plays and how well
Length: How long the game will last after the single-player stuff.
Right, time for the review.

Overspeed is a little known game by City Interactive and groove. Yeah, I don't know them either. But anyway, in a nutshell, Overspeed is your average Need for Speed/Midnight Club kind of game, with a tad bit of that online space racer thing.

GRAPHICS:
For a CD-rom game, it looks superb. The cars look brilliant, either during gameplay or in the garage. Also, the fact there are NINE camera views, and damage system that is pretty nifty and you got a cheap man's Project Gothem Racing and Need for Speed (before the series was ruined)

SOUND:
The soundtrack is awful. However, you can get rid of the shitty 'bounce' music and replace it with your own tracks. I'm not joking. I wasn't expecting it either. As for the car sounds, tyre squeal and crashing sounds? Well, they're OK.

GAMEPLAY:
The gameplay is just you and some-one else on a track. Simple, right? Nope. The controls are horrific. Seriously, you have to use the handbrake on EVERY turn. Also, you have to go round a track five times to learn it. Trail and error is not what a good racing game makes. Add to that nearly every button on the keyboard having a useful purpose, and you've got cramped fingers for seven weeks.

LENGTH:
Very short indeed. There is multiplayer online for up to four players, but, as is usual, there is NO-ONE ONLINE. The story mode will take you perhaps a couple of hours.

OVERALL:
For a budget title, it's great. Very fluid, very nice and the ability to play your own music. If this was about £9.99, don't bother.

Sound: 7/10
Gameplay: 3/10
Length: 5/10
